I trained today for the Dish network job. I was there right after class and stayed till close (2-5). So much information was thrown at me. The next time I go in I'll be working by myself, all alone.
I work Friday from 2-6 and Saturday from 9-6. Hopefully I won't do too badly. My boss is awesome. I see no problems with him in the future.
It wouldn't be so hard to do if I didn't have to memorize the prices of different plans and if I didn't have to remember them for two different companies (the company Skycom sells Dish Network and Direct-tv). I kinda know some of the paperwork (that will come after doing it a few times) and I know how to do the basic stuff like answer the phone, enter stuff into the calender, answer some basic questions, etc. Its still going to be a rough next few days.
But the good news is I'm being paid $7.50 an hour (he upped it $.50 :D!)
Today as a whole was annoying. Got up early to sell back a book only to find that I was trying to sell it back to the wrong bookstore. Went to both my classes and had to rush home to print off a resume and to let the dog out, then went straight to the Dish store. Got home, had to shop for art supplies for classes and took the dog to the dog park. I didn't have time to eat until literally an hour ago (around 10 pm or so). Carl was sweet and brought me fatty fast-foods so I didn't have to eat pizza again.
Just trying to keep my cool for the next week or so till I settle into the new schedule.
